About the role
This is a great entry‑level opportunity if you enjoy working with hardware, labs, and technology and want to learn by doing. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, get hands‑on exposure to real lab environments (both hardware and software), and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow.
What you’ll be learning and working on
- Supporting day‑to‑day work in test automation lab, including QAM and IPTV head‑ends
- Keeping lab organized and ready to use
- Managing hardware inventory for current and future needs
- Supporting the team by ordering equipment as lab grows and evolves
- Connecting clients to RF networks when requested
- Assisting with server and lab infrastructure maintenance and configuration
- Working with and maintaining lab tools and frameworks
What will help you succeed
- Experience with hardware or software installation and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Linux and comfort using the command line
- Understanding of networking basics
- Knowledge of Python programming
- Good English skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow your responsibilities over time
- Ability to organize your work and keep things in order
- Attention to detail, especially when working with equipment and labs
Nice to have
- Ability to assemble computers or servers
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Experience in software or hardware testing
- SEP Electrician Certificate (up to 1kV)
